| A Message from Alberta Community and Co-operative Association After considerable deliberation, the ACCA regrets to inform the membership that its Annual General Meeting, scheduled to take place on May 9, 2019 in Calgary is to be postponed. “This is by no means a decision the board takes lightly,” says Randy Taylor, ACCA Chairman. “At this weeks’ Board Meeting, the directors and I felt that in order to deliver a successful AGM and uphold the high standards of governance that we take pride in, that this was a necessary decision made in the best interests of the association.” The ACCA sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to welcoming you and your co-operative on the new meeting date of June 11, 2019, taking place at Calgary Co-op Headquarters between 1 pm and 4:30 pm. ACCA staff will shortly communicate with each member who has submitted a voting delegate form and will provide official notice of the new date to corporate secretaries via email over the coming days.
